Thanksgiving Prayer
Thank You Lord, for so many things that brighten up our lives, music and song, sunshine and laughter, friendship and love. All these are your gifts. Thank You too, for the annoyances that come our way-pain and sickness, sorrow and disappointment, unpleasant work and difficult people, all these can bring a blessing in our lives. We need suffering in order to mature and deepen our understanding and compassion.
Thank you Lord, for Your continual presence in our lives. We find you waiting for us in the Mass. There You welcome us and pardon us. You speak to us in the Gospel; You receive our gifts You take away our hunger and thirst of soul. All that we have is Your gift to us
So it is now on earth and so it will be when You welcome us into Your kingdom in Heaven. Glory, Honor and Thanks to You forever……….Amen.
O Jesus it was the Blessed Virgin, Your Mother, who brought You into the world. On the first Christmas night, when the shepherds searched for You and found You, Mary was there with St. Joseph. She watched over you in Your growing years. Through every difficulty she was at
Your side. You obeyed and loved her. Your first miracle was an answer to her prayer; water turned to wine. She stood by You in life and in Your last hour. You asked her to stand by us always to be our Mother. Jesus, we thank You for giving us Mary as our Mother.
